Our Latest poster invitation

Hi all. Here is the poster we created today to invite people to church through English class. It turns out that the silver-haired bijin (beautiful lady) in the photo helps more people come because they feel less threatened—especially the mothers with small children.

Our Apartment building

The Japanese characters by our apartment tell the name of the apartment building: Jyo-shi-dai-mae Sunshine. It means "Sunshine Apartments which are in front of the Women's University." We assume that the campus which is directly across the street to the east was once a women's university. If you zoom out you can see the chuch building and parking lot. We are on the very north end of the west wing of the apartment building. When we look out of our windows at the end of our apartment, we can look down at the church parking lot. If you zoom out three times, you can see our 7-11 in the bottom right corner, where we walk nearly every day. They have great salads and am pan (a sweet bean filled roll). Dad prefers to eat at 7-11 to eating at McDonalds! We also have a McDonalds close by. $5.00 for a hamburger, but you can choose a shrimp burger if you want. The elders say it is quite good.
