A Park

Mark, happy birthday! We were walking (and proselyting) in the park in the rain, Friday, and a friendly person volunteered to take our photo (attached). Today, one young missionary set had us participate in a first discussion with a new investigator (Kato San). Kandie followed the progress of the discussion, then bore her testimony in Japanese at just the right time. Later, Kandie suggested what turned out to be the perfect scripture to answer Kato San’s troubled question (why is there so much pain and strife in our lives? 2 Ne 2: 13-16) Kandie is really coming along with Japanese. Kato San’s friend, who is getting baptized next Sunday, brought her to church today, and hence the first discussion. We will participate in the second discussion next week. Regards, Keith and Kandie
