Ashlee was kind enough to post on our blog the google map for our apartment building. I added some comments about the area, if you would like to go look. Thank you, Ashlee. You will notice how many parking lots are around our building. This was a surprise to me, since most of Japan seems to be apartment buildings or farm land. Apparently Kumamoto is not heavily populated and actually has space left over for parking lots. This is okay by me. It means that most of the YSA have cars or can get rides and have no problem coming to our activities. Also, we can be in the country in about 20 minutes and in the mountains not long after that. We have not deliberately gone to the mountains yet, only as a result of being lost:)
