Okay, so we just finished listening to all of the Harry Potter books on CD. Thank you, Becky, for letting us borrow books 6 and 7. Now both Dad and Donna have heard these books.
Donna has been watching me run around like mad, trying to study Japanese, go to Provo, do housework, finish all of the requirements for entering the MTC (visa pictures, drivers' licences, flu shots and pneumonia shots, retirement secure with money from our retirement accounts, to name a few) and decided that I needed a chart to track each day's tasks. We now have a beautiful, 4-5 color weekly calendar with every hour charted for Japanese, home, personal, and family tasks. I don't do much breathing from 7 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day except Saturday and Sunday. Those are free days, almost. I think that there is a15 minute slot for Blog writing sometime in the week.
Sooooo, if I stay on schedule, then I might actually write more.
The nice up-shot of the chart is that Dad and Donna have agreed to do house-cleaning on Mondays and to each fix a dinner during the week. This freed up more time for me to un-pack boxes. This is still a major worry, since we lost sight of the garage floor looking for the packed Japanese books. After nearly three months of inside-garage pampering, our car is now out in the rain again.
